The Hong Kong Paralympic Committee & Sports Association for the Physically Disabled (HKPC&SAPD) is the national member of International Paralympic Committee (IPC) with the vision of Enabling Hong Kong Paralympic Athletes to Achieve Sporting Excellence. The HKPC&SAPD is inviting candidates with strong passion in Paralympic Movement to apply for the post of Sports Manager
The Post
Sports Manager (The incumbent will be reporting to the Executive Director)
Major Responsibilities- To oversee the development of Para Sports which are managed by the HKPC&SAPD
- To ensure the athletes development pathway from grass root to elite is effectively executed
- To formulate a result oriented coach development plan as required for the nurturing of Para athletes
- To liaise and coordinate with Paralympic stake holders in their development of Para athletes
- To supervise and provide guidance to a team of programme staff in their implementation of the sports programmes
- To keep abreast of international Paralympic Movement and make appropriate adjustment to local development programmes
Requirements- A university degree/advanced diploma in sports/physical education/recreation management or relevant discipline
- A minimum of 7 years’ relevant working experience
- Working experience in athletes and coaches management is preferred
- Fluent in oral and written English and Chinese
- Good analytical skill and self initiative
- Strong leadership and effective mentor
- A team player
